This month we are proud to recognize Fernando Amador as a Safety Champion for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe work environment across the Rockaway Resilience and Rehabilitation Project site.
As a Labor Foreman, Fernando plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient jobsite. Through his leadership, he actively promotes a culture of accountability and teamwork, ensuring that safety remains a top priority for every member of the crew.
Working on a project with complex logistical and operational challenges, he consistently goes above and beyond his standard duties to maintain superior site housekeeping. He ensures that debris are immediately cleared, walkways are kept pristine, and materials are safely stored and secured. His proactive approach successfully eliminates slip, trip, and fall hazards before they can impact workers or disrupt operations.
